Paint Stocker/Customer Service Associate – Part Time

The Paint Stocker/Customer Service Associate is a part time (approximately 30 hours per week) position supporting the inventory management and customer service of the JAY-K Paint Department.


Duties include:

  • Receive product into inventory
  • Stock store shelving and displays to maximize appeal to customers
  • Take physical count of items, check and mark merchandise
  • Advise customers about products or refer customers to department Associate for product selection


  • Requirements include:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Availability to work JAY-K store hours including some Saturdays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds on a regular basis

Pay: $15.00 – $22.50 per hour

Shift:  Day shift

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday

Rotating Saturdays

All full-time JAY-K positions require availability during all store hours (below) including 2 or 3 required Saturdays per month. JAY-K Store Hours: Monday–Friday 7am–6pm; Saturday 7am–1pm. Full-time associates work 38+ hours per week with overtime pay for hours worked over 40/week. All applicants must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test.
